Dear colleagues,
It is an honour and a pleasure for me to be able to present to you the AECEP Meeting that will take place in Madrid this year 2022.
In such a difficult period as the one we are undergoing nowadays, after the health crisis unleashed by the Covid pandemic, the war in Ukraine and the hard economic situation we are facing in our country, we cannot leave aside the objective of improving and training day by day in our speciality.
For this reason, in this edition of the AECEP Meeting, we have selected a series of topics that we consider to be of great interest to society, due to demand, evolution and development of new techniques at this time.
Conferences will be attended by national and foreign professors of great prestige. They will share with us techniques and work procedures carried out in their speciality. We will try to hold discussions so as to contrast all approaches.
The venue for this year’s Meeting has changed. The event will be held at the Hotel Riu Plaza España in Madrid since it has offered us significant economic advantages and thus, given the current situation, it seemed reasonable to change.
Finally, I would like to say that both the Board and I have organised this 2022 Meeting with great interest and a lot of enthusiasm to meet in Madrid.
I hope we all enjoy these days and make the most of our meeting.
